Flavia Terzian's work has been exhibited in several independent galleries the UK and now in Amsterdam.
Location is a key factor for incorporating the mix range of rejected mass production materials as well as, recyclable wood, card, blackboard paint, glue and chalk. The artist consistently probes the conventions of geometry and its visual representations. The way we construct and understand them, and the way they relate to one another to make us more attentive to the unspoken codes that underpin our engagement with the world
Terzian’s work grows inspiration from chalk on blackboard sketches to site specific geometric shapes. By researching into calculated geometric abstractions her art is constructed by breaking an image with Abstract Expressionism and traditional compositional devices.
