Artist Ethos

Flavia Terzian is a creative that observes and visualises geometric abstractions. Born in Cyprus, the artist has graduated in Fine arts from the University of Northampton,UK and has since than exhibited in several galleries in the United Kingdom. Currently based in Amsterdam, Terzian works as an exhibition technician at Art3035 Gallery and a freelance artist constructing site specific geometric sculptures.
Location is a key factor for incorporating the mix range of rejected mass production materials such as recyclable wood, card, blackboard paint, glue and chalk. The artist consistently probes the conventions of geometry and its visual representations.
Flavia Terzian creates geometric sketches out of chalk that spark the initial idea to make sculptures. Inspired by geometric forms seen in nature and architecture, Terzian's greatest pleasure is to set up interactive installations where people are free to perform in any way they wish.
